Founded in 1991, Tree Tools is very well positioned in software development considering the brazilian market. In 2001, we built our headquarters (1,500 square meters) in Curitiba Software Park, an area dedicated to software production. Curitiba, capital of Parana State, and a important cultural, political and economic center, is considered a great place to live and work, and is one of the best three cities in Americas for IT-BPO, according to KPMG (IT Advisory 2009 - Exploring Global Frontiers - The new emerging destinations).
Ecologic awareness (go green) is present in our activities. One of our major initiatives is rain water captation, in addition to the selective waste collection.
Tree Tools was graced with the 3rd place in Business Excellence in the Software category by Info Exame magazine (200 largest companies in Technology).
Tree Tools develops WEB software on demand and adopts an open, high quality, and low cost ownership framework based on Java.
We invest in a self-sustainable Software Development model (Software Factory) based on research, generation and retention of knowledge in the area of Software Engineering. We absorb and apply concepts and methodologies focused on the quality of systems produced. We are currently in the process of certification MPSBr level F (CMMI level 2 equivalent).
Regarding to products, Tree Tools is owner of HelpDesk-3, an ITIL compliant Service Desk software solution, on of the most complete tools in Brazil. HelpDesk-3 already has a multi-language interface, including English and Spanish.
HelpDesk-3 has been used succesfully by many companies in Brazil, replacing other international products. We have a good cost-benefit relation. So we´re sure we can provide a new high quality Service Desk SW Tool option to international market.
We are associated to CRA (Regional Administration Council), ASSESPRO (Companies SW Association), SUCESU (Information Technology Users Association) , members of the SW APL (Local Productive Arrangement) of Curitiba, Help Desk Institute, ISACA, itSMF, and C.O.C. (Curitiba Offshore Center) founding members.
